What the numbers mean

72 lights at 17 in. Twelve more points than the Pro over the same 100 ft, and closer together, so from the street the line reads slightly more continuous. From the porch they are still separate dots.

40 lumens a light, and a mixed white. The white is made from the colour LEDs rather than a dedicated white channel, so it bottoms out at 4000K. That is a cool white: clean, a little clinical, closer to a security light than a porch bulb. If most of your nights will be warm white, this is the number to weigh.

72 zones. Every light is its own zone, so alternating schemes work light by light, exactly as on the Pro.

IP67, the same rating as the Pro. Nothing given up on weather.

Who it is for

  • A roofline where colour is the point and white is an occasional setting.
  • Anyone for whom the step down in cost is the difference between doing it this year and not.
  • A front where the closer pitch suits the look: long, low ranch eaves read well at 17 in.

Who should buy something else

  • Warm white is the setting it will live on: the Pro 100 has the dedicated 2700K channel. Side by side.
  • More than 100 ft: the Pro 200. There is no 200 ft version of this kit in the line.

What we could not check

We have not mounted this kit. The specs come from the manufacturer’s page and the listing; the pictures come from our renderer, which places lights by the kit’s own pitch. Whether 4000K bothers you is a question for the render, and then for your own eyes.

Price tiers are our own rough budget bands, not live prices. Check the listing for today’s price. The price itself stays on the listing, where it is current, rather than here, where it would go stale. The same catalogue drives the calculator, so a number here and a number there are the same number.
