The differences that matter
- Direction: the UpDown 2 throws a cone up the wall and a cone down it from one box. The Wall 2 is a single-direction flat panel that washes the wall it is on.
- Brightness: the Wall 2 states 1500 lm per light against 600 lm for the UpDown, though the UpDown lists 1200 lm a pack across both cones.
- Zones: the UpDown has 4 addressable zones and the Wall 2 has 2, so the UpDown can colour more separately.
- Accent: the UpDown adds an RGBIC accent strip and lists 2700K to 6500K white, Alexa, Google and Matter.
- Weather rating: the UpDown is IP66 and the Wall 2 is IP65. The UpDown is listed for beside a door or on garage piers, not along the roof.
