Staked in the bed and aimed up at what you want picked out — a tree, a chimney, the end of a gable. Solar and self-contained, so it goes where there is no cable and nothing to trench, and the price of that is output: 120 lm a fixture accents a feature, it does not wash a two-storey wall the way a mains flood does. Runtime is the other honest limit. Owners in full sun report 12 hours; owners in shade report a few, and that is the complaint that comes up most. RGBTW, so it does real colour rather than a tinted white.
