The differences that matter
- Spacing: addlon's 24 lights are 24 in apart, the Ambience Pro's 15 are 38 in apart. Closer spacing reads more continuous; wider spacing reads as separate points.
- Output per bulb: the Ambience Pro lists 2 W per bulb. addlon does not state a wattage, so the two cannot be compared on power from the data we have.
- Colour temperature: addlon is warm white. The Ambience Pro is sold in 2500K, 2700K and 3000K, so you pick the warmth when you order. Both are fixed white, not colour-changing.
- Failure behaviour: addlon's dual-parallel wiring means one dead bulb does not take the strand. The Ambience Pro's product notes say its record is less settled than its spec sheet suggests.
- Chaining: addlon lists up to 28 strands end to end; the Ambience Pro lists up to 20.
