C9 99 vs Net 6x5

A roofline string set against a bush net. Brightown's C9 99 runs 99 ft with 150 colour-changing bulbs, while Sylampow's Net 6x5 is a 6 ft by 5 ft warm-white mesh meant to be thrown over a shrub. Same cost tier, different jobs.

Brightown

C9 99

99 FT · 150 ZONES · 8 IN SPACING · NO IP RATING STATED

The C9 look — big opaque retro bulbs — with an RGB chip in each one, so the strand does warm white, red and green, or anything else from the Hello Fairy Bluetooth app: 58 scenes, 16 single colours, music sync. 150 bulbs at eight inches over 99 ft, plus a 16 ft lead, and it links to 300 bulbs. Bluetooth only: no Wi-Fi, no Alexa, and you stand within range to change it. The listing says waterproof and gives no IP rating, so we print none.

Net 6x5

6 FT · 120 BULBS · IP44

A 6 ft by 5 ft mesh of green wire with 120 warm-white LEDs at the crossings, thrown over a bush and plugged in. Eight modes on the plug, connectable to more panels, UL listed. Warm white only, no app. The run length above is the panel's long side: nets are bought by the bush, not by the foot. IP44, which is rain and not a sprinkler head.

What differs	C9 99	Net 6x5	Why it matters
Budget band	Budget	Budget	Same tier. We print neither number; the buttons above open the live listings.
Length	99 ft	6 ft	Longer is only better if the roofline needs it. The calculator says which.
Lights, pitch	150 at 8 in	120 at 6 in	Closer pitch reads slightly more continuous from the street; wider reads as distinct points.
Addressable zones	150	120	A zone is the smallest thing the app can colour on its own. Alternating schemes need one per light.
Weather rating	No IP rating stated	IP44	The higher number survives more water. Anything under a gutter wants IP67 or better.

Price tiers are our own rough budget bands, not live prices. Check the listing for today’s price.

The differences that matter

Job: the C9 99 is a 99 ft run with a 16 ft lead; the Net 6x5 is a single panel, and its notes say nets are bought by the bush, not by the foot.
Colour: the C9 has an RGB chip in each of its 150 bulbs and offers 58 scenes and 16 single colours in the Bluetooth app. The Net is warm white only with no app.
Control: the C9 is Bluetooth only, with no Wi-Fi or Alexa, so you must be within range to change it. The Net uses eight modes on its plug.
Density: the C9 puts 150 lights at 8 in; the Net has 120 at 6 in, so a bush gets tighter coverage than a roofline does.
Weather: the Net is IP44, rain but not a sprinkler head. The C9 listing says waterproof and gives no IP rating, so we print none.
